Installation Guide
Click on the following links to download the powergate app:
CONNECT TO OBD & PAIR THE VEHICLE
- Connect the powergate 4 to vehicle via the OBD cable.
- During this operation, it is a good idea to take all the normal precautions for safe OBD reading/writing, such as stabilizing and maintaining vehicle battery power.
- Connect the Battery stabilizer with the vehicle’s battery.
- Open Powergate App on your mobile or Laptop/Desktop.
- Create an alientech ID & register your device in the powergate.
- Turn the vehicle ignition ON.
- Select the vehicle you have from the given list.
- Tap on Identify the vehicle.
READ THE ECU FILE
- Once identified successfully, you will be given 3 options. (ID/Reading/Writing).
- Select ID & let the Powergate tool communicate with your vehicle ECU.
- Once communicated click/tap on “Reading” & tap on NEXT.
- Once the powergate-4 completes reading & exports reading logs, tap on Finish.
- Turn the vehicle ignition OFF.
EXPORT THE ECU DATA
- Once Reading completed, Powergate will store ECU data on the cloud server.
- The ECU data will now be sent to Quantum Tuning Files Writing Team.
- The powergate-4 tool will export the logs & the ecu data on the server.
WRITE THE MOD FILE BACK
- Quantum Tuning team will start working on your vehicle & send you the modified file back .
- You will receive the notification on your mobile/e-mail once the ecu file will be modified & complete.
- Go to the vehicle, Turn the ignition ON.
- Open the powergate-4 App, Pair the vehicle, Click/Tap on the Writing.
- You will be presented different modes, Select the modified file presented on your screen with 3
options: quantum green, quantum blue or quantum red. - Powergate-4 tool will now write the file.
DIAGNOSE THE VEHICLE
- Once the modified file data is written, Power gate will export the writing log.
- Turn the ignition OFF in your vehicle.
- Disconnect the Battery stabilizer with the vehicle’s battery.
- Disconnect the powergate-4 tool from the vehicle.
- Turn the ignition ON. Start the Vehicle & check for any engine dashboard lights.
